- Legenda: Heptonstall (United Kingdom), 29/03/2024.- Players dressed as the characters 'ÄòBold Slasher'Äô and 'ÄòSt George'Äô take part in the Heptonstall Pace Egg, a traditional mummer'Äôs (amateur) play performed on Good Friday in Heptonstall, Britain, 29 March 2024. 'ÄòPace Egg'Äô plays, named because the players once begged for eggs, are an Easter custom in rural parts of northern England which nearly died out in the nineteenth century before seeing a revival in West Yorkshire and Lancashire. Every year hundreds of people visit the small West Yorkshire village of Heptonstall to watch costumed amateur actors enact Saint George doing battle with characters such as the Black Prince of Paradine, Hector and the Bold Slasher.
